GDH Consulting, Inc. in Houston, TX, is seeking a senior/lead systems analyst to design, develop, and support gas system applications with strong Oracle PL/SQL expertise. The role partners with business stakeholders to deliver enhancements and production support across the SDLC.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure system efficiency, reliability, and performance, including Quorum TIPS and related reporting tools. On-site work is required in this energy-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development and analysis.
• Advanced Oracle PL/SQL development expertise.
• Experience with Toa d or SQL Developer.
• Experience with reporting tools related to database systems.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of Quorum TIPS applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain gas system applications, including Quorum TIPS Accounting and Gathering Business Objects reporting.
• Create and optimize Oracle database objects such as packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support vendor software upgrades, patches, builds, testing, and implementation processes.
• Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather requirements and implement system improvements.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for production systems.
• Develop data archiving solutions and interface systems with upstream and downstream components.
• Maintain documentation for technical designs, configuration, and system processes.
• Assist in identifying and resolving system issues efficiently.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to gas operations and energy systems.

• Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of database development and analysis experience using SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Advanced expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Strong SQL development skills and experience with tools such as Toad or SQL Developer.
• Experience with reporting tools related to database systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated team player with a customer-service mindset.
• Experience with Quorum TIPS applications within the natural gas industry is a plus.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay Range

Publishing Pay Range: $130,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
