Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Back-end Software Development Engineer in Dearborn, MI to own PKI and secure API services for the vehicle product ecosystem. You will design, build, deploy, and maintain high-assurance PKI APIs that handle certificate issuance, lifecycle management, revocation, and HSM integration.

The role focuses on server-side APIs, databases, and cloud/on-prem deployment, working with Java, Python, C#, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in IT with 4+ years in software engineering and secure coding.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and standards including RSA, ECC, AES and X.509.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver back-end APIs and microservices in Java, Python, C#, etc.
• Deploy and monitor applications on cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and architects.
• Ensure security hardening, CI/CD, testing, and reliability of services.
