Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a PKI Security Services Engineer to own the end-to-end lifecycle of cryptographic systems for the connected vehicle ecosystem. You will design, build, deploy, and maintain PKI and security service APIs, including certificate issuance, revocation, and HSM integration.

Hybrid role based in Dearborn, MI, with on-site days and collaboration across product owners, architects, and developers. 6+ years in IT and secure coding are preferred for this senior engineering position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years in IT with 4+ years in software engineering and secure coding practices.
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and standards (RSA, ECC, AES).
• Proven track record owning customer-facing products from ideation to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver back-end services and APIs (REST, PKI) with security best practices.
• Deploy and manage cloud/on-prem environments; monitor health, performance, and security.
• Integrate with HSMs via PKCS11 and support certificate lifecycle management.
• Lead end-to-end PKI/Key Management services across vehicle product ecosystem.
