Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer specializing in PKI, cryptography, and secure APIs to design, develop, and maintain backend systems for connected vehicle ecosystems. You will own certificate lifecycle management, HSM interfacing, and secure deployment across cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role emphasizes cryptographic engineering, integration, and security practices with a strong focus on scalable backend services, testing, monitoring, and post-launch

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of IT experience.
• 4+ years in software development and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Java, Python, and C#.
• Design secure RESTful APIs and services.
• Manage PKI, certificate issuance, lifecycle, revocation, and cryptographic operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and align with architecture guidelines.
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud and on-prem Kubernetes environments.
• Promote secure coding, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring practices.
