Job summary

Okland Construction in Tempe, AZ seeks an experienced piping supervisor to lead safe, on-schedule installation of process, high-purity, and utility piping systems in demanding cleanroom environments.

You will coordinate craft labor, read P&IDs and isometrics, and oversee multi-crew operations with focus on quality and compliance. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industrial piping; 4–5 years in a supervisory role on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of high-purity piping systems including PVDF and polypropylene.
• Ability to read P&IDs and isometrics and lead multi-crew piping operations.
• Experience on semiconductor fab or advanced manufacturing projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 and safety certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily piping installation activities including carbon/stainless steel and high-purity plastics.
• Enforce cleanroom and contamination-control requirements, including gowning and material staging.
• Direct and mentor pipefitters, welders, plastic fusion technicians, and helpers while managing crew productivity.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, QA/QC, safety, and other trades; oversee material handling and spools.
• Track progress against schedule, identify constraints, and implement recovery plans with daily reports.
• Support inspection and testing (hydro, pneumatic, helium leak) and turnover packages to specs.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety observations per site programs.
