Job summary

Jobs In Welding is seeking an experienced Piping Foreman for a large semiconductor construction project in North Phoenix, AZ. You will lead a crew of 5–6 Pipefitters/Welders, organize daily piping activities, and ensure high safety and quality standards while meeting schedule requirements.

The role focuses on UPW piping systems, welding, bolting, and carbon steel piping from 4" to 48". Strong leadership and hands-on piping expertise are essential for success on this project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of Pipefitter experience or Journeyman-level experience.
• Strong experience with high-pressure water piping systems or other liquid piping systems.
• Industrial or large-scale construction piping experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with carbon steel piping, welding, bolted connections, and piping installation.
• At least 1 year of Team Lead, Crew Lead, or Foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a crew of approximately 5 to 6 Pipefitters/Welders.
• Coordinate and organize daily piping activities and crew assignments.
• Oversee installation and connection of carbon steel piping systems.
• Work with piping ranging from approximately 4" to 48".
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and according to project requirements.
• Monitor workmanship and maintain high quality standards.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices at all times.
• Help keep the crew organized and work progressing according to schedule.
• Communicate project needs, progress, and potential issues effectively.
