Job summary

Clayco and LJC Design & Engineering are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Stress Analysis Engineer to lead piping stress analyses and mechanical design for industrial facilities. You will act as the technical authority, mentor junior engineers, and ensure calculations and deliverables meet client standards and codes.

The role supports projects from concept through commissioning, coordinating with structural, electrical, process, and construction teams to deliver safe and constructible

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience with piping stress analysis and leading technical teams preferred.
• PE license or eligibility is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical authority for piping flexibility and stress analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure design compliance with codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams through all project phases.
• Support proposal development and client meetings with technical input.
