Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Mechanical Piping Designer to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The designer will create piping layouts, 2D and 3D drawings, and related BOMs for projects in offshore oil and gas, onshore processing, chemical manufacturing or refining environments.

The role emphasizes accuracy, constructability, and compliant documentation. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate’s Degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from a technical institution preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience required.
• CADWorx and PDMS software experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office software experience preferred.
• Experience in offshore oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designs and working drawings including projections and standard specifications.
• Interpret verbal or written directions to initiate a preliminary design.
• Assist with stress analysis, procurement, calculations, and estimates.
• Prepare BOMs and procurement lists when drawings are complete.
• Revise drawings and BOMs with engineering changes.
• Utilize 2D or 3D CAD to create layouts of piping systems and components.
• Create documentation to process Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Perform field data gathering when requested by supervisor or manager.
