Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from a Technical Institution preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience is preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience required.
• CADWorx software experience required.
• PDMS software experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office software experience preferred.
• Field experience required.
• Experience in offshore oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry required.
• Small/Medium project lead experience required.
• Large project lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete design packages including preliminary, conceptual, and construction deliverables and engineering calculations.
• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies with projections, sections, and specifications.
• Interpret directions to initiate preliminary designs and revisions as needed.
• Assist with stress analysis, procurement, calculations, and estimates.
• Check drawings for project applicability and optimal construction, and verify accuracy of drawings by others.
• Prepare BOMs, procurement lists, and specifications; implement revisions per engineering changes.
• Assemble information and reference drawings from various sources.
• Continuously look for product improvements and cost reductions.
• Ensure drawings meet specs, codes, and HSSE standards.
