Audubon Companies seeks a Piping Designer III to join our Houston Fabrication Office. You will design modular oil & gas processing skids, arrange piping & equipment, and prepare isometrics, P&ID/PFDs, plot plans and vessel fabrication drawings.

You will utilize 2D/3D CAD software to create layouts, perform field surveys, and support ECOs while aligning with HSSE standards and project budgets. A strong piping background and offshore/onshore experience are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from a Technical Institution preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience required.
• CADWorx and PDMS software experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office software experience preferred.
• Field experience required.
• Experience in offshore oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry required.
• Small project lead experience required.
• Medium/Large project lead experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to read process flow diagrams and process & instrumentation diagrams is required.
• Strong piping knowledge of materials for piping construction is essential.
• Experience with drafting isometrics, general arrangements, vessel fabrication drawings, plot plans, piping plans and sections.
• Being able to work with a team of designers is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts, designs and working drawings.
• Interpret direction to initiate a preliminary design.
• Assist with stress analysis, calculations, and estimates.
• Check and verify accuracy of drawings.
• Prepare BOM and specifications and revise as needed.
• Implement revisions per engineering changes.
• Assemble information from multiple sources.
• Identify opportunities for cost reductions.
• Produce drawings and fabrication deliverables per schedule and standards.
• Maintain proper file management per company standards.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Perform field data gathering to complete deliverables.
• Track project schedule and budget.
• Comply with HSSE standards and regulations.
