Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources seeks a Senior Manager of Projects to lead planning and execution of onshore natural gas pipeline and facilities projects from development through closeout. This role oversees multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors, ensuring safe, compliant delivery while managing risk, scope, cost, and schedules.

The position can be onsite in Juno Beach, FL or remote with travel to Florida sites.

Qualifications

Experience leading complex gas infrastructure projects from planning to closeout.
Strong understanding of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple natural gas infrastructure projects through full lifecycle.
Develop scopes, execution plans, cost estimates, schedules, staffing, contracts.
Coordinate engineering, construction, operations, and commissioning interfaces.
Support permitting, land, and procurement with guidance.
Prepare bid documents, evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations.
Manage project controls: schedules, cash flow, variance analysis, executive reporting.
Mitigate risks and manage changes and contractor/vendor change orders.
Ensure compliance with 49 CFR Part 192 and company standards.
Provide cross-functional leadership and accountability for results.
Coordinate with land and environmental teams for route development.
