Job summary

Plains is seeking an Integrity Engineer to lead and continuously improve the Integrity Management Program for pipeline and facility assets across multiple states. The role includes advanced engineering analyses, ILI assessment reviews, MOP/MAOP validation, P&M evaluations, and collaboration with regulatory agencies.

The Asset Integrity group interfaces with DOT/PHMSA, TRC, and other authorities, ensuring compliance while supporting construction, reactivations, and project design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Mechanical or Chemical preferred.
• 5+ years of related experience in ILI data analysis, threat assessment, and pipeline inspection/pressure testing.

Responsibilities

• Review ILI vendor data and prepare reports.
• Determine evaluation pressures and validate ILI tool performance.
• Select anomalies for investigation and plan repairs.
• Review NDT data for quality assurance.
• Lead P&M evaluations and risk assessments.
• Perform pressure cycling and fatigue analyses.
• Identify integrity trends and suggest improvements.
• Determine hydrostatic test pressures and review records.
• Validate and document MAOP/MOP.
• Provide integrity input on new construction and projects.
• Review changes such as reactivations and flow reversals.
• Perform EFRD analyses for valve placement.
• Plan and execute Integrity Management Program requirements.
• Support audits and respond to regulatory requests.
• Coordinate with Operations, ILI vendors, and project teams.
• Stay current with regulations and repair methods.
• Train Operations and junior staff on integrity programs.
• Develop asset integrity management plans and procedures.
