Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer in the Houston/The Woodlands, TX area to lead and grow our pipeline engineering and geohazard management practice. The role focuses on mid-stream oil and gas projects, supervising teams, and delivering innovative solutions for existing clients.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of pipeline consulting experience, a PE license, and strong knowledge of design codes.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of directly relevant experience in pipeline engineering consulting.
PE license is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
Ability to travel to client facilities as needed.
Working knowledge of ASME B31.3/B31.4/B31.8 and 49 CFR 192 and 195.

Responsibilities

Develop business opportunities with new and existing clients and prepare proposals.
Manage the overall delivery of projects including planning and controls, financial management, and risk management.
Lead cross-disciplinary teams to execute projects and meet client expectations.
Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications for pipeline design and construction.
Oversee, supervise, and mentor junior engineers and drafting staff.
Provide senior review of project deliverables, including design basis documents and cost estimates.
Travel for client meetings and site visits.
