Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Sr Engineer within the Technical Operations team to provide day-to-day engineering support for the Division Liquid Pipeline Operations. You will collaborate with Operations to support hydraulic calculations, surge studies, and P&IDs, and help manage project lifecycles from planning through execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 6–10 years of experience, with readiness to work near pipelines in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 6-10 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to interact with stakeholders and agencies at all levels.
• Self-starter with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides day‑to‑day engineering and technical support to liquid pipeline operations.
• Performs hydraulic calculations and simulations; assists with MOP, surge studies, budgeting, and P&ID updates.
• Sets operating, alarming, and shutdown set points for liquid pipeline operations.
• Participates in MOC process for engineering review and sign‑off.
• Manages full project lifecycle for maintenance capital and expense projects.
• Reviews potential exposures and relocations; supports investigations.
