Job summary

RINA in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior North America Pipeline Design Engineer to lead piping design projects for hydrocarbon facilities and ensure compliance with client specifications.

You will manage a design team, coordinate interfaces, and mentor staff while delivering projects on schedule in the Plant Engineering division.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Leads piping design for petroleum, natural gas, power, and related facilities.
• Performs and oversees engineering and CAD design to meet specs.
• Assigns work, mentors team, and manages subconsultant activities.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with local, state, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering and oversee planning and design of hydrocarbon facilities.
• Apply client and industry specs to projects.
• Manage interfaces to meet project schedules.
• Lead team in system configuration and component design.
• Oversee construction support and technical activities.
• Identify hotspots and priorities.
• Optimize processes to reduce time and cost.
• Coordinate resources and supervise drafting.
• Report to Pipeline Principal Engineer.
• Develop staff through assignments and training.
