Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to layout, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping systems for steam, water, sprinkler, heating and cooling in a manufacturing setting. The role requires journeyman-level skills, ability to read blueprints and specifications, and to plan work sequences with materials and pressure considerations.

Applicants should have 4+ years of combined pipefitting experience or related apprentice credentials, and be able to work

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4 years combined experience and training in pipefitter path or similar to apprenticeship program.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime including weekends/holidays.
• Experience as a pipefitter in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings/layouts.
• Knowledge of pipe types/sizes and materials.
• Ability to measure, cut, thread, bend, file, bur and ream pipe with tools.
• Ability to assemble and install piping using clamps, brackets, hangers, wrenches, pliers.
• Repair and maintain piping components; inspect systems for malfunctions.
• Perform incidental tasks as required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabrication, assembly, installation and maintenance of piping/plumbing systems and equipment.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, manuals and drawings.
• Plan sequence of operation and materials based on pressure, piping and materials knowledge.
• Perform incidental tasks to complete larger jobs.
