Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Pipefitter to support layout, fabrication, assembly, installation and maintenance of piping systems for steam, water, sprinkler and related equipment. This hands-on role requires journeyman-level skills and the ability to read specifications and blueprints.

Responsibilities include planning operation sequences, selecting proper materials, and performing incidental tasks to complete larger projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years experience as Pipefitter or equivalent apprenticeship.
• Ability to work all shifts including overtime.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and ability to read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping/plumbing systems and related equipment.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, manufacturers' manuals, sketches or similar documents.
• Plan the sequence of operation and select materials according to pressure capacities and piping/plumbing requirements.
• Perform incidental tasks as required to complete larger tasks.
