Job summary

Stellantis in Perrysburg, OH is seeking a Pipefitter responsible for layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems across steam, water, heating, cooling and related systems.

You will read blueprints and specifications, plan work sequences, and perform repairs as needed using appropriate hand and power tools. This role requires journeyman level skills and flexibility to work shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
4+ years of combined experience and training similar to an apprenticeship as a Pipefitter; OR apprenticeship certificate as a Pipefitter; OR eight years of pipefitter experience; OR five years with three years in related trade.
Ability to work any shift and overtime (daily, weekends, holidays).
Experience as a pipefitter in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, layouts or other specifications.
Knowledge of pipe types and materials per job specs.
Ability to measure, cut, thread, bend, file, and ream pipe with various tools.
Ability to assemble and install piping and fittings with clamps, brackets, hangers, and wrenches.
Ability to repair and maintain piping components and detect malfunctions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Incidental tasks as required.

Responsibilities

Layout and fabricate piping systems, fixtures and equipment.
Assemble, install and maintain piping for steam, water, sprinklers, heating and cooling.
Interpret specifications, blueprints and manuals to plan work sequence.
Plan sequence of operations and materials based on pressure, piping and material knowledge.
Perform incidental tasks to complete larger projects.
