Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER-Ind Pipe PV, TWIC Card, and a Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, torches, and pipe threaders.
• Attach pipes to walls, fixtures and structures using brackets and clamps.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair per specifications.
• Select pipe sizes and related materials per specifications.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems and related equipment.
• Install controls to regulate pipe systems and operate valves to isolate sections.
• Remove and replace worn components; inspect sites for obstructions.
• Operate pumps to remove water from flooded areas; other duties as assigned.
