Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NCCER certification or LU 72 membership preferred.
• Five years' pipefitter experience preferred.
• Ability to manage teams and multiple projects on site.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations for piping systems.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding on piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project progress and report to job site manager.
• Order, invoice, and manage materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes, inspections, and regulations.
• Configure pipe systems blueprints and plan layouts.
• Perform welding, cutting, and assembly of piping segments.
• Lead troubleshooting and repair on steam, water, and gas distribution systems.
• Ensure correct pipe sizes, hangers, supports, and joints.
