Job summary

Core Industrial Maintenance LLC is seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our team, reading plans, laying out and installing pipe spools, and supporting piping systems across varied environments with travel to customer sites.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of industrial pipefitting experience, plus knowledge of standard industry practices and the ability to operate manual and power tools safely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years pipefitting experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of industry standard concepts, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plans and documentation to determine the scope of work, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required
• Layout, fabricate, and install pipe spools from spool sheets
• Flame cut pipe to length and bevel, clean and prepare pipe for fit-up
• Performs layout, rigging and transportation of pipe, valves and fittings
• Threads pipe using threading machine
• Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machines
• Properly select and use manual, pneumatic, and electric tools according to tasks
• Hoist equipment and tools into location via bull rigging or crane
• Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies
