Job summary

Worley in Denver, CO is seeking a Principal Project Engineer – Pipeline & Flow Assurance to lead technical delivery of pipeline projects within EPC programs. The role combines pipeline design with hydraulic and flow assurance expertise to ensure safe, reliable transport, integrating with multiple engineering disciplines and clients.

Based in Englewood, Colorado with a 3-day hybrid schedule at the Worley office, the position requires collaboration across teams and travel to project sites as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering.
• 15+ years of pipeline engineering and flow assurance experience in EPC/energy.
• Proficiency with onshore pipeline design and codes (ASME B31.4/B31.8, CFR 192/195).
• Experience with hydraulic analysis and multiphase flow.
• Hands-on with OLGA, PIPEPHASE, PIPESIM.
• PE license preferred or able to obtain quickly.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and delivery of pipeline systems for onshore and offshore projects.
• Oversee hydraulic and flow assurance studies under all conditions.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and facilities teams.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and hydraulic profiles.
• Support design reviews, HAZOPs and risk assessments.
• Interface with procurement and construction to maintain design intent.
• Mentor junior engineers on best practices.
