Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• At least three combined years of experience in manufacturing, pilot plant, or laboratory environments.
• At least one combined year of experience with injection molding.

Responsibilities

• Join 3M’s Injection Molding team in the Manufacturing Technology organization to develop products, processes and technologies and solve manufacturing problems.
• Prepare and operate injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment to support experimental, prototype, and production runs.
• Work directly with engineers and product developers and independently conduct molding trials.
• Locate defects or problems during the manufacturing process and adjust as needed; perform quality testing and visual inspections; interpret and report quality results; maintain proper documentation.
• Advance site EHS and continuous improvement culture through implementation of improvement ideas and adherence to policies.
