Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney for a full-time opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role manages an established plaintiff PI caseload, from litigation strategy through settlement or trial, with strong emphasis on negotiations and client advocacy.

Requirements include a J.D., 5+ years of personal injury litigation, and an active bar license; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active California State Bar license in good standing.
5+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
Significant motor vehicle accident litigation experience.
Trial experience through verdict and appeal.

Responsibilities

Manage personal injury cases from filing through settlement or trial.
Develop litigation strategies and evaluate liability, damages, medical records, and case value.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
Conduct and defend depositions.
Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
Prepare clients, witnesses, and experts for litigation proceedings.
Prepare cases for trial and serve as first-chair or second-chair as appropriate.
Maintain client communication and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
Collaborate with paralegals and staff; mentor junior attorneys.
