Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering or Applied Sciences with extensive multi-physics experience.
• Ability to set up multi-physics calculations related to EM sources from explosions.
• Proven experience presenting results to stakeholders and HQ.
• Mentor teammates and plan future model developments.
• Experience using Linux clusters and hydrocodes for simulations.
• Experience preparing and comparing experimental data with simulations.

Responsibilities

• Transfer and share knowledge, mentoring Design Physics Division personnel.
• Address program questions for LYNM and predict observed responses.
• Simulate magnetic moments from chemical explosions and compare with data.
• Improve understanding of EM source generation from coupled explosions.
• Generate input files for multi-physics calculations and support tech transfer.
• Ensure new code replicates coupled solutions for flux-bubble phenomena.
