Veterans Health Administration in Memphis seeks a Section Chief physician to provide leadership and supervision for GEC Teams across outpatient, inpatient, and home-based settings.

The role includes performing comprehensive evaluations, developing treatment plans, and ensuring compliant documentation and quality measures in accordance with VA policies. You may supervise residents and collaborate with affiliated programs while maintaining high standards of patient care.

Formación

• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from LCME/COCA-accredited school.
• MD/DO must be from an accredited program with licensure eligibility.
• For foreign graduates, confirm ECFMG eligibility where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision across GEC Teams.
• Perform evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care.
• Document patient care in CPRS per VA policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with ambulatory care services and consults as needed.
• Participate in education and supervision of residents and medical students.
