Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated physician recruiter to source qualified candidates across the system. You will design and execute strategic recruitment plans, utilize web advertising, social media and networking to build pipelines, and collaborate with physician leadership on timelines and compensation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • Typically 3 years of physician recruitment or executive recruitment experience.
  • Experience developing recruiting strategies and sourcing targeted candidates.
  • Proficient in web advertising, social media, email blasts and networking.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws affecting recruitment and HR.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience building relationships with physicians and leadership.
  • Strong negotiation, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruitment databases.
  • Ability to travel frequently, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Source and recruit qualified physician candidates system-wide.
  • Develop recruitment plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify and source physicians through web advertising, social media, networking, referrals, and conferences.
  • Identify hiring-department needs and develop sourcing plans.
  • Develop and implement complex recruitment plans.
  • Screen and interview candidates to assess background, training, compatibility, and fit.
  • Educate candidates about organizational principles, culture, compensation, benefits, immigration needs, and employment law
  • Communicate recruitment progress with site partners and provide timely feedback
  • Collaborate with local administration to maintain physician opportunity information
  • Build long-term candidate relationships and maintain pipelines using CRMs
  • Consult with physician and administrative leadership on recruitment processes, timelines, compensation, benefits, immigration, and employment law

Job description

  • Source and recruit qualified physician candidates system-wide
  • Develop recruitment plans aligned with organizational strategies and goals
  • Identify and source targeted physicians through web advertising, social media, networking, referrals, phone interviews, conferences, and search firms
  • Identify hiring-department needs and develop effective sourcing plans
  • Develop and implement complex recruitment plans
  • Screen and professionally interview candidates to assess background, training, compatibility, and fit
  • Educate candidates about organizational principles, culture, career opportunities, compensation, benefits, immigration needs, and employment law
  • Communicate regularly with site partners about recruitment progress and ensure timely feedback
  • Collaborate with local administration to maintain practice descriptions and physician opportunity information
  • Build long-term candidate relationships and maintain candidate pipelines using the Candidate Relationship Management tool
  • Consult and collaborate with physician and administrative leadership on recruitment processes, timelines, market availability, compensation, benefits, immigration, and employment law
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Typically requires 3 years of experience in physician recruitment or executive recruitment
  • Knowledge and skills in developing and implementing recruiting strategies and successfully sourcing targeted candidates
  • Skills in web advertising, mining websites, email blasts, social media, journal ads, direct mail, telemarketing, networking, referral programs, phone interviews, conference attendance, and search firms
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws impacting recruitment and human resources
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Skills and experience building relationships and consulting with physicians and leadership
  • Excellent negotiation, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar products
  • Knowledge and utilization of web-based recruiting
  • Ability to operate equipment and computer databases
  • Ability to accommodate frequent travel, evening telephone work, and frequent weekend assignments
