Job summary

Atlantic Health seeks a Physician Compensation and Contracting Manager to lead compensation, contracting, and engagement initiatives for physicians within the employment lifecycle. You will partner with physicians, operations, and executives to guide complex compensation discussions and agreements.

The role requires expertise in Fair Market Valuation, contract drafting, and process improvement, supporting APCC decisions and ensuring compliance across systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, or related field.
• 3+ years in physician compensation, contracting, healthcare administration, or related area.
• Experience with complex compensation programs and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Communicate across all parties in the contracting process with leadership, Recruitment, and Operations.
• Maintain detailed records of physician contracts and compensation arrangements.
• Review and manage stages of requests in the Physician Contracting Database (IronClad).
• Develop or adapt physician compensation plans and ensure equity across physicians.
• Conduct Fair Market Valuation and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Prepare materials for the Atlantic Physician Compensation Committee (APCC) and support meetings.
• Draft term sheets and employment contracts for new recruits and renewals.
• Coordinate with Legal to review agreements before release to physicians.
• Collaborate with Physician Recruitment to present terms to physicians.
• Provide timely contract-related responses and negotiations follow-up.
• Generate reports from IronClad for Senior Leadership and operations.
