Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years previous experience as a physician assistant within the last five (5) years.
• Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program.
• Physician Assistant License (California) required at hire.
• National Provider Identifier required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, team-based patient-focused care under supervision of a physician.
• Examine patients, perform physical exams, obtain health history, and document findings.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests; perform procedures such as injections, suturing, and wound care.
• Assist in surgeries as First Assist and participate in perioperative care as applicable.
• Mentor less experienced Physician Assistants and participate in on-call duties as needed.
