Easy Start Therapy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated full-time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our Boynton Beach Rehabilitation Center. The role centers on outpatient orthopedic care, with emphasis on spine surgery recovery and delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

You will work onsite in a state-of-the-art facility with a multidisciplinary team, providing assessments, therapeutic interventions and patient education while maintaining regulatory standards and quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• MSPT or DPT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans with a focus on spine surgery recovery.
• Implement and monitor treatment interventions, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, exercises, lifestyle modifications, and pain management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Document patient progress in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, with a focus on spine surgery recovery.
• Implement and monitor treatment interventions, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet patient rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, providing guidance on exercises, lifestyle modifications, and pain management techniques.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive patient care, liaising with physicians, nurses, and other specialists.
• Document patient progress in adherence to legal and regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality of all patient information.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Rehabilitation Center serves a diverse patient population, focusing on adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, particularly spinal procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience working in outpatient settings, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of physical therapy practices tailored to this demographic.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; candidates with a Master’s Degree (MSPT) or Doctorate Degree (DPT) will be given preference.
• Must hold a valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida, maintaining good standing throughout employment.
• Current CPR certification upon hire or to be obtained during orientation, with the requirement to keep certification active during employment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of outpatient orthopaedic experience, specifically with a focus on spine surgery rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and documentation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting, focusing on holistic patient care.
