Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• New York State Physical Therapy License or temporary permit.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of two years experience as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required on entry.

Responsibilities

• Complete all documentation for patient care and reimbursement in the medical chart.
• Maintain proficiency in treating assigned patient population.
• Perform initial assessment and evaluation of PT needs for assigned populations and develop treatment plans.
• Teach and supervise fieldwork students and other learners.
• Implement treatment plans and adjust as needed to meet patient goals.
