Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.

• BLS or CPR/AED certification is required on entry to the position.

Responsibilities

• Participates in Clinical Education of fieldwork students and other educational endeavors; teaches and supervises students.
• Manages patient care productivity as indicated by unit procedures and reports.
• Maintains proficiency in skills to treat the assigned patient population.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Conducts initial assessment and evaluation of PT needs; reviews charts and clarifies orders.
• Implements treatment plans and protocols; establishes achievable goals with patient and family; selects aids and facilitates referrals as needed.
• Completes all required documentation for patient care and reimbursement per department and JACHO/CARF requirements.
