RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Senior Physical Therapist to join the Physical Therapy department. This salaried, full-time role focuses on evaluating and treating patients in the acute care setting with emphasis on mobility, functional recovery, and safe discharge planning.

The position requires clinical expertise across a broad range of hospital services, leadership contributions, and ongoing performance improvement initiatives. Location is Main Hospital - New Brunswick.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates patients in the acute care setting and develops individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, functional status, and patient goals
• Provides physical therapy interventions to patients across nursing units, including orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, cardiac, critical care, trauma, general medicine, telemetry, the emergency department, and pediatrics
• Assesses patients' mobility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional abilities to determine appropriate treatment and discharge recommendations
• Provides therapeutic interventions designed to improve mobility
