Job summary

UL Standards & Engagement is seeking a Physical Security Manager based in Evanston, IL to protect employees, visitors, facilities, assets, and IP. You will develop and maintain security standards, manage access control, CCTV, alarm systems, and visitor management across multiple locations.

You will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and security projects, partnering with real estate, facilities, and project teams to ensure safe, compliant operations and strong governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in physical security or related discipline.
• Experience with enterprise security systems and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain ULRI/ULSE physical security programs across locations.
• Lead incident response, investigations, and security risk assessments.
• Manage security infrastructure projects and vendor relationships, including budgets and SLAs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders during planning, design, and occupancy of facilities.
