Job summary

Guidepost Solutions seeks a Senior Project Manager in the Washington, DC area to lead large-scale physical security design and project management engagements. You will interface directly with clients, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive projects through the full lifecycle from design to commissioning.

The role requires extensive experience in security systems such as access control, surveillance, and alarm monitoring, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of project management experience.
• Experience delivering physical security design and PM services to an organization or end user.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through design, implementation, construction, and commissioning.
• Meet client budget, quality control, and scheduling requirements across all phases.
• Track issues and coordinate with team to resolve barriers.
• Perform technology security assessments and develop prioritized improvement plans.
• Serve as primary contact for customer relations and inquiries.
• Communicate with client Senior Leadership (Senior Directors and VP-level).
• Support team members on similar projects and contribute to profitability.
