Puyenpa Services LLC is seeking a Senior Security Specialist - PHYSEC to lead physical security efforts for high-visibility DoD programs from Arlington, VA or Wright-Patterson AFB. The role requires independent execution, expert guidance to government and contractor stakeholders, and PSC readiness within one year.

The position requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAR eligibility, 10+ years in security, and a Master’s degree (or a Bachelor's with 4+ years).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in physical security or related field.
• Master's degree or Bachelor's with 4+ years of related experience.
• Experience developing and evaluating physical security programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive briefings.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAR eligibility is required.
• Willing to sign a Letter of Intent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior physical security SME supporting F-35 JPO operations.
• Develop, implement, maintain, and assess physical security programs and plans.
• Conduct security inspections, surveys, and risk analyses of facilities.
• Recommend protective measures, access controls, IDS, and countermeasures.
• Review accreditation packages and physical security documentation.
• Ensure DoD/DoN and program-specific security compliance.
• Advise leadership on risks, mitigation strategies, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with facilities, security, information security, and program stakeholders.
• Develop reports and security documentation for senior leadership.
• Support security audits and program reviews.
• Mentor junior security personnel.
• Support emergency planning and continuity-related security requirements.
