Job summary

Puyenpa Services LLC seeks a Senior Security Specialist - Administrative in Arlington, VA for a DoD JPO security services contract. This full-time role requires DoD Top Secret clearance/SAR eligibility and leadership in security operations across personnel, program, physical, information, and international security.

The incumbent will brief senior government officials, mentor security staff, and guide cross-functional teams to embed security requirements into program activities, with a focus on

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; or Bachelor's degree with 4 additional years of related experience in security management or a closely related field.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in security management, operations, or related discipline.
• Ability to independently perform complex security functions and provide senior-level guidance.
• Experience supporting large-scale DoD programs or comparable federal entities.
• Experience delivering briefings to senior executives and leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance and SAR eligibility/access required.
• Willingness to sign Letter of Intent.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level security expertise across multiple security disciplines.
• Advise leadership on policies, procedures, and risk mitigation.
• Develop, review, and implement security processes to ensure DoD program compliance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on security matters affecting program execution.
• Conduct security assessments, reviews, and compliance activities.
• Support planning, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives in security.
• Prepare and deliver briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior officials.
• Mentor junior/mid-level security personnel and provide SME guidance.
• Support cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into program activities.
• Track, analyze, and resolve security issues impacting operations.
