Job summary

Unio Digital in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior Physical Security Engineer to own the design and commissioning of complex physical security deployments. This role carries senior technical authority across the field crew.

You will interface with clients, general contractors, and AHJs while guiding end-to-end security solutions from design through acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing commercial physical security systems.
• Manufacturer-level certifications across multiple platforms.
• Strong networking knowledge: VLANs, multicast, QoS, network segmentation.
• PSP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.; Tucson, AZ relocation possible.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end physical security solutions (access control, VMS, intrusion, integrated systems).
• Produce detailed plan sets, riser diagrams, and BoMs.
• Lead system commissioning and acceptance testing.
• Provide technical oversight to field technicians during installs.
• Interface with clients, GCs, and AHJs throughout project delivery.
