Job summary

Cipher Digital is seeking a senior professional to own the physical security design program end-to-end for critical data center projects. This individual contributor role will start with core design responsibilities and has the potential to build and lead a design team as Cipher grows.

You will translate threats into layered security solutions, collaborate with architecture, electrical, IT, and cyber teams, and ensure designs meet NFPA, UL 294, and other applicable standards for high-assurance

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in physical and electronic security systems (ESS) including design work and leading a design team.
• Proven track record turning over complex ESS designs on schedule.
• Deep experience with access control, intrusion detection, video management, and emergency communications; CSI Division 28 specs experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the physical security design lifecycle from concept through construction administration and record documentation.
• Drive on-time production of every security design package for Construction.
• Ensure design packages are complete and buildable without contractor-produced drawings or shop drawings.
• Translate threat assessments into layered security designs using defense-in-depth, CPTED, standoff, DORI, and the five Ds.
