Job summary

Cipher Digital is seeking a Senior Manager, Physical Security Operations to own and operate the security program across multiple campuses. You will manage embedded Site Security Managers, oversee budgets and vendor relationships, and ensure readiness at turnover while maintaining security posture and customer commitments.

The role combines construction-phase work with live operation support, requiring leadership across teams and strong governance to scale security across the growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of progressive experience in physical security operations.
• Experience leading people managers and building a growing team.
• Ownership of contracted guard force programs end to end (SOWs, SLAs, budgeting).
• Experience operating security programs in construction, 24/7 operations or high-security facilities.
• Ability to maintain customer-facing commitments through SLAs, audits, and contracts.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and vendor cost management.

Responsibilities

• Own physical security operations across the portfolio, including posture, performance, and incidents 24/7.
• Set and maintain the operating standard at all sites.
• Own the security operations budget and vendor relationships throughout the portfolio life cycle.
• Accept turnover and ensure readiness before program transfer.
• Lead embedded site security personnel and direct contractor staff.
• Own security reporting, audits, and compliance across sites.
