Job summary

Lyte AI, based in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a Senior PHY Algorithm Engineer to develop high-performance DSP algorithms for hardware accelerators, CPUs, GPUs, and vector DSPs. You will optimize and support algorithm pipelines across the full development lifecycle, working with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, production-ready solutions.

The role emphasizes fixed-point design, verification with bit-exact models, and collaboration with Digital Front-End and embedded DSP software teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in algorithm development for signal processing or advanced communication systems.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and C/C++ for end-to-end DSP pipelines.
• Experience with fixed-point design and bit-exact, cycle-accurate models.
• Experience collaborating with Digital Front-End designers, verification engineers, and embedded DSP software developers.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and develop advanced signal processing algorithms for sensing applications.
• Define, document, and maintain algorithmic specifications and technical documentation.
• Perform fixed-point analysis and modeling to support HW/SW implementations.
• Develop and execute end-to-end algorithm pipeline simulations using MATLAB and Python.
• Conduct algorithm performance evaluation and validation at block and system levels.
• Collaborate with front-end design, verification, architecture, SW, and system teams throughout development.
