Job summary

AssureSoft Corporation is seeking a Senior PHP/Symfony developer for remote work in the United States. You will design, build, and maintain web applications and backend services, focusing on REST APIs, MySQL, and scalable architectures.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in code reviews, and help improve performance and reliability. The ideal candidate has strong debugging skills, independence, and a track record of delivering maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Senior software development experience with PHP/Symfony.
• Proven track record building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and backend services.
• Develop, enhance, and integrate backend services using PHP and Symfony.
• Design, build, and consume APIs for application functionality and system integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Contribute to technical estimations and development planning.
