Job summary

LaraBench in Northampton is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to own backend development with PHP, Laravel and also contribute to Vue.js frontend work. You will build scalable SaaS features, optimize databases and design robust REST APIs, while collaborating with product, design and engineering teams.

This role is hybrid with 2 days per week in the Northampton office. You will stay hands-on with PHP, Laravel, MySQL and AWS, while expanding your full-stack skills in a global SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Experience building scalable SaaS platforms.
• Strong REST API and MySQL knowledge.
• Hands-on full-stack capability with Vue.js and modern tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and scale SaaS applications using PHP/Laravel.
• Implement REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Collaborate with frontend, product and design teams.
• Write tests with PHPUnit and ensure security and performance.
