Job summary

Canfield Imaging Systems seeks a Senior PHP Cloud Developer to design scalable, secure systems and contribute to the organization’s cloud infrastructure. The candidate should communicate well, be passionate about the work, and thrive in a dynamic, focused team environment.

Core duties include leading projects from conception through completion, implementing secure cloud APIs for the patient portal ecosystem, and developing dynamic pages with JS/AJAX while optimizing performance and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS
• Strong PHP and web app development background
• Experience with cloud-based architectures and APIs
• Ability to troubleshoot legacy systems and drive modernization
• Familiarity with PHP/Apache configuration including virtual hosts

Responsibilities

• Project management from conception to completion, including requirements gathering and delivering a finished product
• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud APIs for the patient portal ecosystem
• Develop dynamically rendered pages using JavaScript and AJAX data
• Optimize application performance and implement backend security controls
• Design database schemas, normalisation, and write efficient SQL queries
