Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Senior Photo Equipment Installation Engineer to join the Photo Install team, covering Photo, Scanner, Spinner, Reticles and related facilities systems. The role emphasizes safety, mentorship, and collaborative problem solving to improve processes on site in the semiconductor fabrication environment.

As part of the Installation team, you will lead installation activities, respond to issues, and own assigned projects while sharing insights with colleagues.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or > 20 years extensive Photo Equipment experience and knowledge.
• >10 years of Photo equipment experience, with specific knowledge on Photo equipment Exposing, Coating/Developing or Photo/Reticle inspection equipment.
• Photo Equipment Install experience, and understanding of materials used in the processing of Semiconductors, related Specialty Gas and Chemical knowledge.
• General knowledge of Mechanical, Fluid, Gas, and exhaust piping and interfaces. Able to explain compatibility between materials and different type of facilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety systems related to the installation of semiconductor equipment and fabrication facilities.
• Demonstrate an understanding of installation procedures.
• Lead and execute Installation safely, and able to respond to problems positively and determine root cause quickly, document and develop countermeasure to prevent reoccurrence.
• Take ownership of assigned projects
• Share successful insights with the installation team and mentor junior members as needed.
