Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Spinner Equipment Engineer to join the Photo Equipment Engineering team. You will install and qualify Spinner and auxiliary equipment, transfer next generation technology, and participate in cross-functional meetings to improve equipment metrics.

The role requires 4 years of college and 5+ years in semiconductor equipment ownership for photo or cleans processes. Expect international travel and a competitive base salary with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• 4 years of college in related field.
• 5+ years of semiconductor Photo or Cleans equipment ownership.
• In-depth experience on SEMES, TEL or Screen equipment.
• Understanding of wafer processing fundamentals and photolithography.
• Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, FDC, yield analysis and related practices.
• Ability to travel internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performing Spinner and auxiliary equipment installation, including hardware and product qualification.
• Creating next generation technology node transfer including recipes, SOPs, BKMs.
• Attending and contributing in daily tactical meetings with vendors and internal teams about photolithography equipment and metrics.
• Coordinating internal, external and vendor resources to provide optimum manufacturing support on assigned equipment.
• Investigating, troubleshooting and providing technical solutions to equipment defects.
• Analyzing and reporting tool performance data and KPIs for assigned equipment.
• Providing weekend coverage (~12 weeks a year) and managing multiple tools on weekends.
