Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager for a full-time role in Phoenix, AZ. The position oversees the commercial aspects of large-scale projects from tender to completion, including contract review, risk mitigation, and margin protection.

Responsibilities include managing cash flow, forecasting, change orders, and claims, with hands-on project accounting and collaboration with project stakeholders to ensure compliant documentation and successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in commercial project management, project accounting, contract management, or project controlling in construction/engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial risk management, cash flow planning, forecasting, and margin control.
• Experience with contract management, project accounting, and construction site processes.

Responsibilities

• Shape the commercial activities for large-scale projects from development through completion.
• Review terms and conditions with the contract management team before contract conclusion and mitigate risks.
• Validate and collect legally binding correspondence and ensure escalation processes.
• Create and monitor a liquidity plan; monitor project cashflow and legitimate claims.
• Focus on validating and collecting project claims and managing customer complaints.
• Oversee project forecasting and keep margins on base lines; support dispute resolution with subcontractors.
• Conduct project accounting transactions for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to align scope, schedule, and deliverables.
• Share financial responsibility for budgets and cost awareness.
