Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking a Commercial Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ to lead the commercial side of large-scale projects from tender through completion. You will review contracts, manage risk, oversee cash flow and liquidity planning, and support dispute resolution with clients and subcontractors.

You will work with project stakeholders to ensure accurate controlling, compliant documentation, and hands-on project accounting to drive project success and margin protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in commercial project management within construction/engineering.
• Working knowledge of contract management and project accounting; familiarity with site processes and schedules.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness and ability to travel to projects and sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Shape commercial activities for large-scale projects from development through completion.
• Review contractual terms and service descriptions with the contract management team before signing.
• Mitigate risks, minimize exposure, and negotiate opportunities with clients.
• Validate and collect legally binding correspondence and escalate when needed.
• Create and monitor liquidity plans; manage project cash flow and claims.
• Oversee project forecasting and ensure margin baselines; support dispute resolution.
• Conduct project accounting transactions and align with project managers.
• Collaborate across scope, schedule, and deliverables to support active projects.
• Share financial responsibility with budget oversight and cost awareness.
