Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Vadnais Heights, MN is hiring a Sr. Phlebotomy Technician to support supervision and patient blood collection across age groups, with POCT responsibilities.

The role requires travel and a Monday–Friday schedule with hours that vary from early morning to evening and rotating weekends. Essential duties include phlebotomy, POCT, and maintaining supplies and carts while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of progressive experience in POC and phlebotomy preferred.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV and WA.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and POC testing as needed.
• Maintains drawing and POC testing carts/trays with supplies.
• Obtains specimens and requisitions and delivers care per patient needs.
• Sorts specimens and supports scheduling and onboarding with supervisor.
