Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist III for the Decatur, IL territory, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, with rotational weekends. Travel within an assigned territory to PSCs, IOPs, or other sites, ensuring accurate specimen collection and patient identification.

May mentor on-site staff and support operational excellence. The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, a High School diploma, and state-certified phlebotomy credentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• English required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections (venipuncture & capillary draws) with high accuracy and handle difficult collections.
• Obtain patient identification and verify specimen labeling; perform data entry as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing (labeling, centrifuging, storage).
• Provide professional patient and client service, communicate collection procedures clearly, and maintain a clean collection environment.
